Lorenzo & Tomaso Carcassi – Viola ~1770
Viola Lorenzo & Tomaso Carcassi around 1770 with certificate from Andreas Post. They were brothers who shared a workshop in Florence (probably 1750-80). They were strongly inspired and influenced by Jacob Stainer and Giovanni Battista Gabrielli. The varnish is typically of an ivory-brown color. Very beautiful high curvature.
